Jailed since 1991 for the murder of an old lady, an American was proved innocent at the end of 2010 thanks to his DNA. Following a night-long interrogation, Frank Sterling had confessed to the murder. Condemned to 25 years in prison, he spent 19 years in jail before being proved innocent. The DNA evidence showed the investigators that the murderer was in fact Mark Christie, also guilty of murdering a little girl in 1994.
